About Us

In 2008 while I was serving in the US Navy, I took on an evening caregiving job to supplement my income. Little did I know that this job would be the AHA moment for me. This job not only increased my passion for serving vulnerable individuals, but it also cemented my patience in staying calm in stressful situations. The family members to my client at the time became family and long-time friends. When we moved to Skagit Valley 7 years ago my wife and I realized that the valley did not have any adult family homes. We immediately started planning to open an AFH. It took us 6 years of hard work and patience. We are so proud to be a part of this wonderful community. We look forward to years of serving the vulnerable, disabled, and aging folks.
